• My objective is to successfully learn and benefit from an internship with Gigi Horton - State Farm Insurance. This internship opportunity will benefit me by improving my communication skills as well as help me gain more people skills.

Relevant experience :

• Napa Valley Hospice Adult Day Services 

I played board games, made art and crafts, and communicated with patients. I also made sure to assist any of the patients, if they needed the assistance. 

• Mariposa 

We coordinate events like Kick-Butts Day and Red Ribbon Week. 
Members in Mariposa, a women empowerment group, frequently get to meet with and receive opportunities to learn from people who are making a difference in our community or who will benefit the group by talking to us. The group has also received other opportunities to get out into the community and make a difference, not only for themselves, but for others too. 

Extra-Curricular :

I’ve answered any questions visitors to our school (New Technology High School) have had. 

• Earth Day 

I assisted vendors set up their booths
Directed food trucks, vendors, and people who wanted to attend the Earth Day event
